On February 13, representatives of the Accounting, Reporting and Auditing Supervision Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia participated in an informational event organized by Accountants union at the Georgian National University. The meeting was attended by about two hundred accountants from the fourth and third category companeis enterprises. The main purpose of the event was to discuss the objectives and progress of the accounting reform, to get acquainted with the new requirements related to the deadlines for the submission of financial statements of Category IV enterprises and to introduce some principles of the simplified reporting standard. Service representatives answered attendees questions. During the event, the guest trainer of the Academy of the Ministry of Finance presented himself to the audience and spoke about the basic principles of cash flow reporting.
